The Law of Attraction, Alignment and Tapping In

We’ve all heard the adage “What You Resist Persists.”

What exactly does that mean? From a Law of Attraction point of view it simply means that whatever you disapprove of, don’t like or argue against has your focus of attention and is influencing your energy field. You’ve got your attention what you don’t like and presumably don’t want more of. However, the Law of Attraction simply says “yes” to whatever you’re observing and you get more of the same.

So what you resists takes up a lot of space and energy. Your energy transmits frequencies and the Law of Attraction matches those frequencies with similar kinds of energy. Therefore, you attract more situations that resonate with what you don’t want.

When we speak of energy alignment, we’re talking about aligning with what you desire. This simply requires that you get your attention off what you don’t want and place it solely on what you do want. Sometimes, as we’ve all experienced, this can be a challenge. Especially when it comes to your hot buttons.

What are you hot buttons? Not enough money? Worry about your teenager? Frustration with your co-worker? Anger at an ex-spouse? It can cause quite a stir in our energy, can’t it? But alignment work is fairly simple. Identify what you don’t want. Let that help you clarify what you want. And then align with what you want.

The work is to continue to identify when you’ve got some resistance to what you want activated and to find some relief by focusing on what you want and how it will feel once you have it. I like to use Meridian Tapping or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) with my clients when the resistance seems to be overwhelming.

EFT or Meridian Tapping is a wonderful way to acknowledge that you’ve got some beliefs that have taken hold and to steadily iron out the wrinkles in your belief system. EFT addresses the limiting beliefs that are already active. You begin by telling the truth about what’s bothering you. Don’t sugar-coat a thing. And then you tap meridian points on the body as you tell the truth and move the beliefs to slightly better feeling possibilities. EFT is easy to learn and easy to self administer. A skilled practitioner can help you get to core beliefs that feel stuck.

Everything is energy. The energy of limiting beliefs can get lodged in your body’s electro-magnetic field. Learn to use the Law of Attraction and EFT to help you move that negative energy out. And tap into greater well-being and greater possibility.
